Our Story: How Avogelato Began
After being introduced to avocado ice cream on a trip to Vietnam, I just had to find a similar option in the United States. It was so creamy and delicious—and so much healthier than all the other ice creams. With the emphasis we place on eating right and staying active in our family, it seemed like the perfect treat. But much to our surprise, nothing like this existed in the U.S.
So me and my two boys (Preston and Talmage—ages 16 and 14) set out to make our own recipe we could enjoy. It took us over two months and several dozen concoctions, but we finally landed on one that was even better than what I had in Vietnam.


From Family Recipe to Farmer’s Markets
I tried Avogelato on a whim at the farmer’s market and was shocked at how creamy and flavorful it was. You’d never guess it was made from avocados. It’s now my favorite guilt-free treat.
You can actually taste the quality and freshness in every bite. It’s unlike anything I’ve had before—and trust me, I’ve tried a lot of ‘healthy’ desserts. This one actually delivers.
I’ve tried so many alternatives over the years, but nothing comes close to the taste and texture of Avogelato. It’s rich, refreshing, and doesn’t leave me feeling weighed down.
